2.0 Entry Requirements
- A minimum of third class of first degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Information Technology, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering or other Science and Science related discipline
- A minimum of pass of first degree in Science and Science-related disciplines with minimum of three years relevant working experience
- A good HND Certificates in Science related and engineering areas is also eligible for admission.
3.0 Aims and Objectives
3.1 Aims
The PGD programme in Information Technology is one of the few NOUN’s most attractive postgraduates programmes, aimed at meeting the Information Technology needs of our high level management personnel in the private and public sectors. The programme equally aims at preparing interested candidates towards pursuing academic programme in Information Technology.

By the end of the PGD Information Technology programme, students should be able to:
- Demonstrate basic skills in various computer applications and working within various platform
- Use and set up various latest multimedia computing and communication devices.
- Demonstrate competent skills in exploring various tools on the internet.
4.0 Programme Structure and PGD Rules
Duration of the Programme
Students pursuing PGD programme in Information Technology must complete at least 35 credits to satisfy the University’s regulations.
