Career Profile
I began my professional journey in 2004 with a teaching practice role at Himma Private School, Maiduguri, Borno State. Subsequently, I served as a class teacher at Our Lady’s Primary School, Maiduguri, from 2006 to 2007.
After completing my National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in 2013 as a Chemistry Teacher at Itukho Community Secondary School, Ibiono Ibom, Akwa Ibom State, I joined Unwaba Community Secondary School, Benue State, as a Chemistry/Basic Science Teacher from 2015 to 2016. In 2017, I contributed to the education sector by marking NECO and WAEC examinations at designated centers in Abuja, alongside teaching Chemistry and Basic Technology at Fine Trust Academy, Jikwoyi, Abuja.
In 2019, I transitioned into an administrative role as Administrative Officer I at the National Open University of Nigeria, Jabi-Abuja, where I served until 2022. My career took a significant turn in 2022 when I was appointed as an Assistant Lecturer in the Environmental Science Department of the same institution, a position I currently hold. This journey has been characterized by progressive growth and diverse experiences in teaching, administration, and academic development.
