Career Profile

Dr. Hadiza Abdullahi Ari is a lecturer in the Department of Environmental Science, Faculty of Sciences, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Abuja. She holds a B.Sc. degree in Chemistry from the University of Jos, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from the National Teachers Institute (NTI), Kaduna and M.Sc. degree in Material Science from the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna State. She obtained a Doctorate in Environmental Engineering from Jilin University, China. She is a researcher who is passionate about the environment, water, and energy. Her area of research is on Nanotechnology, catalysis and wastewater remediation, and she is a registered member of the Chemical Society of Nigeria and American Chemical Society. She is also performance-oriented, organized, innovative with analytical problem-solving skills, and her wealth of experience and pedigree distinguish her as an astute administrator, academician, instructional designer, and a science content editor who stands for honesty, integrity, and hard work.
